Marxism in GPS ? Know what they are teaching your children

German philosopher and sociologist who was famous for his work in critical theory as a member of the Frankfurt School of social research. The Frankfurt School was instrumental in developing the ‘mindset of modern education’.

Take a few minutes to bathe in the substantive content of Max Horkheimer's quote. Read it again. Think about the breadth and scope of its import. Max’s philosophy is the game plan of modern public schools, and his dogma marches through public education like a bad beef burrito through a vegetarian. Sadly, WE'VE ALLOWED IT!

Marxist infiltration of our public schools has been chipping away at our American ideals for decades. Finally, public education is reaping what it has sown over the course of the last 75 years. OUR CHILDREN are being indoctrinated in humanistic dogma that often contradicts traditional values, breeds division in our families and communities, and cultivates a victim vs oppressor mindset. Thankfully, lockdowns and mandates, have awakened many parents to the threat of these radical ideologies and we are ready to take back our schools!

Here is another quote from Max Horkheimer; juxtapose this with our memories and experiences of the last few years:

"The more the concept of reason becomes emasculated, the more easily it lends itself to ideological manipulation and to propagation of even the most blatant lies. Subjective reason conforms to anything".

“Subjective reason conforms to anything!”

In Grandville Public Schools, our children are taught that wearing a mask demonstrates virtue and compassion, being vaccinated is an obligation if you truly care about others, and terms like binary, non-binary, gender fluid, gender queer, intersex, are normalized variations of human sexuality. In addition to that, schools have embraced the dismantling of acceptable English prose by inserting an infinite number of descriptive pronouns…intended to destroy the divine, biological construct of male and female while simultaneously creating confusion and questioning among our kids. All of this has contributed to the overwhelming number of students that are experiencing anxiety and cognitive disorder. Truth has become subjective and the Marxist agenda moves forward.

Only five years ago, many would have considered these concepts radical and unwelcomed in our schools. What happened

Parents of Grandville students

How can we, as parents, make a positive impact on the culture of our schools? It is imperative that you know your child’s teacher. Set up a meeting to talk. Send an email that offers encouragement and appreciation. Try to get to know and understand her at a personal level. Never be afraid to ask pointed questions and expect direct answers. We can all agree that the Grandville Schools have many amazing teachers with big hearts. Most love our kids and are passionate about teaching! Teachers recognize that parental involvement is a contributing factor to the success of the students and your efforts won't go unrewarded.

It is possible that you will befriend teachers and recognize that you have common goals— the education and wellbeing of your child. Teachers need your support, and they also need to know that parents are engaged in what is going on in the classroom. It’s impossible to see eye to eye on every issue- heck, I don't see eye to eye with my wife on everything, and she's my best friend. But taking time to know your children's teachers will help you communicate on a deeper level. Staying connected to teachers will help your child know that you care, and building relationships with the most important stakeholders in your child’s education- the teachers, is a positive step toward changing the culture.

Build a Sense of Community

Make a concerted effort to connect with parents and community members. Ask them questions, invite them out for a coffee, and see if you share some of the same concerns. If the last couple of years has taught us anything, it’s that we cannot put blind trust in ‘experts’ and ‘institutions’ to do the right thing. By staying connected with other community members, you can help keep each other informed about what is going on in our schools—knowledge is power. When concerns arise, you will have that connectivity that will bring parents together to coalesce around a common cause or concern. Our schools can no longer be playgrounds for Marxist ideologies. It's time we address radical indoctrination at the classroom level…BUT WE MUST DO IT TOGETHER!

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is a Springboard for Marxist Ideologies

Please take a minute to read what 3 of our Grandville teachers think (link below) and ask yourself: "What is the purpose of this extreme way of thinking and what are they teaching our kids?"

I'll leave you with a quote from the Great Communicator, Ronald Reagan:
